The Falcon Lake RCMP says two people had to be taken to hospital following an accident with one of their cruisers.
The collision took place just before noon on Friday.
The RCMP says an officer was traveling east on Highway 1 in a marked cruiser when it collided with a vehicle heading southbound on Provincial Road 302.
Police say the vehicle was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto the Trans-Canada.
The 40-year-old male officer and a 21-year-old woman from Ste. Genevieve received non-life-threatening injuries.
The RCMP continues to investigate along with a forensic collision reconstructionist.
