Two Kenora men are facing theft charges after a report of shoplifting at a local business on Park Street.
The unnamed business, located in the 500 block of Park Street, reported the incident at 6:55 p.m. to police on February 14.
The Kenora OPP say they immediately attended the scene and arrested two individuals.
A 25-year-old is facing charges of:
– Theft under $5000
– Failure to comply with Probation order
– Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
A 23-year-old is also facing charges of:
– Theft under $5000
– Failure to comply with Probation order X 2
The OPP say both were held in custody pending a bail hearing, and anyone with any further information on the incident is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
