The City of Kenora has confirmed voter turnout was just about 50 percent in the Municpal Election last month.
The final figures have been tabulated and the official tally is 49.8 percent.
A majority of the eligible voters used the internet to cast their ballots, with 83 percent going online to vote.
Of that number, 61 percent used a laptop or computer to vote, while 39 percent voted using a mobile device.
Just nine percent used their telephone.
On average it took 2.7 minutes to vote using the internet compared to 4.9 minutes by phone.
