The Kenora Triple A Senior Thistles will not be heading to the Allan Cup.
Over the weekend Kenora fell in straight games to the Dundas Real McCoy’s in the Renwick Cup Championship.
In game 1 on Friday night Dundas skated to a 5-3 victory.
They backed it up Saturday by taking down Kenora 5-2.
It marks the first time in 5 years that the Thistles will not play for the national crown.
However Kenora is in line to hold the Renwick Cup next year followed by the Allan Cup in 2017.
